Important Note:
Our Overwatch Competitive Points boost is very flexible. You can ask your booster to play only when you are not online, like when you are sleeping or at work. If you have any wishes or special times, just tell us, and we will try to make everything easy and comfortable for you.
Competitive Points in Overwatch 2 are a special currency you earn by playing Competitive mode. You can use Competitive Points to buy Weapon Variants for your heroes, which are special cosmetic items. Right now, the available Weapon Variants are Golden, Jade, and Galactic. Competitive Points cannot be used for other cosmetics, only Weapon Variants.
You can get Competitive Points in Overwatch 2 by playing Competitive matches. You earn 10 Competitive Points for each win and 5 for a draw in Competitive Play. Every match also adds to your Competitive Progression bar, and once you fill it up with 30 progress points, you get 100 extra Competitive Points. You can earn up to 3000 bonus points this way each season. Starting in Season 12, you can also earn more Competitive Points during Competitive Drives, special weekend events near the end of a season. Competitive Drives give extra points when you reach certain checkpoints, up to 3000 points (and even more in the final season of the year). From Season 16, you can also get 10 points for each win in the Stadium mode.
No, you cannot mix currencies when buying Weapon Variants in Overwatch. In Season 10, Overwatch allowed players to buy all Weapon Variants with Competitive Points, not just Galactic Weapons. But when you want to buy a Weapon Variant from a past season, you have to use only one type of currency—either Competitive Points or Legacy Competitive Points, depending on the weapon. You can’t combine both currencies to pay for a single Weapon Variant.
At the end of each competitive year, any unused Competitive Points are turned into Legacy Competitive Points. Legacy Points can still be used to buy older Weapon Variants, usually for 3000 points each.
You can spend Competitive Points in Overwatch 2 to buy Weapon Variants for your heroes. For example, in 2025, the Galactic Weapons are available as Weapon Variants. To get a Weapon Variant, go to the Heroes screen, pick your hero, and click on the "Weapon Variants" tab. Each Weapon Variant costs 3000 Competitive Points to unlock.
There is no limit on how many Competitive Points you can earn in Overwatch 2. In the past, there were limits like 3000 or 6000 Competitive Points, but these caps have been removed. The bonus points from the Competitive Progression bar are still capped at 3000 per season, but you can keep earning Competitive Points from wins and draws with no overall maximum.
